App requirements

When all of these requirements are met, the deployment process is easy, smooth and quick as most of the things are pre-configured.

  1. /health endpoint

    Section titled “/health endpoint”

    It’ll be used as a readiness probe. Check your app, database and any service dependencies here.

    We expect it to respond under 100ms with:

    HTTP 200 Healthy
    HTTP 503 Unhealthy

  2. /metrics endpoint

    Section titled “/metrics endpoint”

    Basic application metrics for monitoring and alerts.

  3. The app runs on port 8080

    Section titled “The app runs on port 8080”

    Everything is pre-configured for port 8080.

  4. Configurations are in env variables

    Section titled “Configurations are in env variables”
